Wow. Time really does fly. I look back on the past few weeks since I last posted and think to myself, dang, where you been, girl?! The answer is everywhere but here. Work is the main culprit. My life outside work is a close second. Did manage some wine tastings at some Malibu vineyards this past weekend (yes, they do exist). The markets are bursting with, well, almost everything. The camera has been left at home the past few trips because it’s been too hot for dilly dallying and…I’m lazy. For a partial penance, here are some grapes that will be Malibu wine in a few years time…

I have bento envy. Teh Smitten and I hit Japantown in SF in search of a bento box like yours, but to no avail. I am thinking I’ll just order us some stuff online and hope for the best. Do you have one of those cute bags for your bento box?
Also, when I get some energy, I’ll try to post about our amazing lunch at Boulevard in SF.

We clearly dorked when we didn’t ask you about where to shop. Sigh. We will gratefully send you cash money in exchange for bento goodness, but an itemized list of what you use (brandnames, sizes, etc) would probably work too - there’s a site called J-List or something where one can buy lots of stuff.
Also, creme fraiche egg salad? Wow. Must go get lunch now.
